Thanksgiving is over and now on to the holidays. Our last exhibition for 2014 will be "Pint Size Holiday" a collection of small original paintings and collages perfect gift ideas for the holidays or a welcomed addition to your art collection. Show runs from December 1-11 with a reception on Aha Night on December 11 5pm - 9pm. Hope to see you there :-)

With the addition of lights and snow flakes and fun artsy ornaments, i'm very proud of our Gallery window - our first ever street level store front. Loving it <3  Last week began the preparation of Deck the Windows for our gallery space at 106 William St. New Bedford. I personally love decorating for the holidays but I didn't realize how much I would have enjoyed this project of decorating the gallery's store-front. We decided not to go with painting the windows but instead install an installation of a painted tree branch with artsy and creative ornaments to give that art studio flair.  This handsome elf was busy all night making the Gallery Tree ornaments :-)  Paintbrush ornaments  Trimming the Tree  Tree developing nicely. Outside looking in on a rainy day The New Bedford Cultural Council is sponsoring DECK THE WINDOWS. A Call for artists and all creative people to decorate, paint or install something festive in a business windows all through downtown New Bedford and win some fun prizes.  Alison Wells Fine Art Studio & Gallery will be taking part in the Deck the Windows event-with our Gallery Tree installation.
 Small Business Saturday encourages people to shop at small businesses on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The single day has grown into a powerful movement and more people are taking part than ever before.
