"Melancholia #3" A work of art from local Print Maker Pat Daughton. This piece definitely has more of a formal aspect to it where composition is carefully and brilliantly thought out. Negative space is used in clever ways to create optical illusions between the foreground, middle ground and background.
Again this is a predominantly black/white and gray piece to which I seem to gravitate to - however the sophisticated hints of subtle color give a unique dimension to this piece that I oh so love.
